|Job Detail:||The Transportation Assistant Coordinator coordinates, plans, implements, and maintains
transportation programs and vehicles for special populations in the City of Montgomery.
Responsibilities include planning, coordinating and implementing daily general recreation
programs for individuals with disabilities; planning, coordinating and implementing transportation
and transporting individuals with disabilities to and from the Therapeutic Recreation Center and
out of town trips; coordinating and supervising the activities of Recreation Aides and volunteers;
and maintaining daily and weekly records, reports, forms, equipment, materials and supplies used
for program activity. Qualified applicants will possess a high school diploma or G.E.D.
equivalency and one year of experience in an organized recreational program working with
individuals with disabilities. A bachelor’s degree in a related field such as recreational therapy
